Default Ssra

I am very interested in do this mod. I need to know, who has done it and is it worth the money. I have a 2000 ss with slp lid, LS6 intake, Bo White ported tb, and slp 3" 2otl.

I know a tenth and a mph or two at the track is good, but I want to know if anyone has done some street baselining with this.

is it part of the install to seal off the front of the airbox? or is it ok to leave it open as well?
