Default Edit and Trans shift vs. Rev Limiter

After running into the Rl on the 2-3 shift, on and off the juice, I started racing using OverDrive vs. Drive (as suggested to Tony...NineBall). Since using OD, I have not hit the RL on any shift, and actually bettered my ET's a afew hundreds. I am curious after tuning with Edit, will this change the factory set difference of D vs. OD programming? If I use Edit and alter the shift firmness/speed/line pressure and points, will it be the same for D and OD? Hate to run into a RL on a 200 shot! TIA. Charlie.
