Went to track
I went to the track this weekend and had a tech1 scanner with me on the seat and took a snapshot of the run, and a few things were curious. When I left the line -2 degrees of timing was taken out at 2000 rpm and at 4000 there was another 4 degrees taken out as well...there was random amounts all over the run from -1 to 4 all over the place. My voltage on the TPS was 3.90v at 100% on one run then 3.66 @ 100% on another run. The computer was locked to cell 16 at WOT with bank 1 running 960 and bank 2 was running 850 for the fuel mix...can I just unplug the knock sensor or does my car even have one being that it is a 93? Or is there a way to trick **** this thing into believing there is no knock with a diode inline. I think when I hit 257 and 266 on the dyno it was a little low, this may be part of the reason. thanks for any help...

Hey I was wondering the same thing. I unplugged my knock module and the car ran shitty. It didnt want to idle and it was slower than before. My car is very moody. I ran a mustang that runs low 12s and he pulled on me 1/2 car. Then I ran a GTO that runs 13.8@101 and he whiiped my ***. lol My exhuast knocks off of my subframe connector and I think that the knock module is picking it up as spark knock. So I was wondering if there was a way I could trick the knock module into thinking there was no knock also.
