Default Single Digit Midget M6

Hey Kyle here's the post

Went to a track rental at MIR Friday. Did a new personal best across the board.

It's a 99 Formula, blown 402, M6, 3.42 gear 12 bolt, 28" MT DR, race weight was 3660 lbs. I've got a Wilwood big brake setup on the front so had to run my 265-40-18's on the front.

60' 1.481
1/8 6.473
mph 108.86
ET 9.934
mph 144.94

60' 1.516
1/8 6.422
mph 109.57
ET 9.857
mph 145.96

The DA was 1600+ and air temp was 80 Friday around 3pm when I ran the times.

I was looking at the list and we're a rare breed to say the least.

4500, dump it and hang on. The MT DR's were doing a hellva job. I was rather shocked when I put it up on the scales at the track. 3500 without me in the car 1/2 tank of gas.

How was Saturday, did all the silly dirt bike people get in your way? We had a few of the morons walking along side the track on the big end forcing them to flip on the red lights while they told them to get back from the track.

Big turn out? I had gotten up at 4:30 to be up there and ready to race Friday morning, so Saturday was out of the question and I am sure there were no rooms any where close.

I thought about buying a camcorder the day before and forgot about it after loading the car in the trailer. I do have the time slips scanned, have my two 9.X passes along with the best from the first time I took it to the track in 99 a blistering 13.3@107. Ford Dr said I carried the fronts about 40ft out on both 9 sec passes.

I like those front wheels you got, are the dimensions online anywhere? They look like they may clear my big Wilwood brakes up front, that would help me shave a little time off, I am sure pushing those 18's down the track is not helping my times at all.

the dirtbike race made getting to and from the track a disaster, other than that no problems.
