Default Help!

So Im trying to get back in the mood of doing my header install, I should say finishing it. I was wondering if the brace/mount for the alt. that bolts to the stock exhaust manifold is necessary. Also my dipstick tube aint going back in, what should I do?

Thanks a million guys!

do you not have the hardware to hook up the alt. bracket? you should try to make it work. and throw your dipstick tube in the freezer for a few hours.

Is there a special stud for the alt. bracket? Or do I use the original one? ill throw it in overnight so when we get it itll be pretty shrunk (if thats a word) by then.

if i remember correct there was a spacer tube that went on that header flange bolt that makes up for the thickness of the original manifold. sorry, i have nothing to look at since i have the alt. mounted down low on mine. maybe someone that has the same headers will reply.

I hope so, the spacer will not clear the flange.
