lack of shifter cup bushing cause grinding?
I have a hurst shifter but I dont have the shifter cup bushing where the ball of the shifter goes in. I'm wondering would that cause my car to grind 3rd and 4th at rpms? I changed my clutch, flywheel, slave, and throwout bearing yet my car still grinds 3rd and 4th. I'm still thinking it could be my hydraulics but it seems like the clutch catches half way like normal. I want to say its the transmission but its actually my 2nd one from the auto wreckers. The first one grinded 3rd gear. They're saying its not the transmission's fault. I can shift into any other gears with ease.

I'm not an expert with transmissions, but it sounds like the 3rd and 4th synchros are out. I know that they are pretty weak in the T-56's and have personally saw them go out in friend's cars.

I was afraid I have to get it rebuilt. I'm just worried about the shipping part because i dont have any containers.
I noticed that whenever i rest 4th gear in neutral it seems like I feel gears moving. Whenever I clutch it, I can feel the gears inside slowly spin down. I'm thinking my clutch is disengaging because I can shift to 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, and reverse easily.
