Default Need second opinions on BIG Whipple build

Some of you may have been following my 3.3L whipple install, but in any case, I am on to stage 2 ..which is a forged 347 looking for MAX hp.

Car is 2003 C5 Z06...6 speed, 3.42 gears.

My last results were 621rwhp/647rwt on a Dynomite dyno at 6.6 to 8 psi

Engine was OEM bottom end LS6, afr 205's 66cc, kooks 1 3/4 w/ cat s, LG G5X1`cam and Borla 2 tip stingers.

I have components for the engine build, but they were really meant for a maggie setup, which I have since dropped.

So far i have LS1 block, oem crank, Compstar rods, Diamond 11503 (-8.6cc) pistons, Dart 225's cleaned up and with dual springs, 1 7/8" kooks on the way.

I do have a Comp cams cam , that was intended for the maggie, but would like second opinions on cam recommendation, etc.

Static CR with this combo is 9.7 (heads are at around 63 cc after cleanup)

Car will see the strip, some road race and street use, but I don't mind lumpy.

My current thoughts are leaning towards a fairly wild cam in the 230 to 240 duration .600 lift area.

I do want to bleed off a fair bit down low, in that I don't need 800 ft. lbs of torque off idle and if I can sacrifice a bunch down low in exchange for between 700 and 800 up top, then i would be extremely happy.

Also, probably need to lower dynamic cr a bit too...Car will be run on 93, plus direct port meth.

Lastly, I figure that a fairly big cam would also result in lessboost and therefore less heat

Just juggling things at the moment and realy can't afford to dump pistons, etc.

Another question is how much boost can the Diamond 11503's handle before kaboom?

Rockers??? I have Harland Sharpe rollers, also HS rebuild kits for stockers...and I like 7500 rpm shifts.

Any thoughts??

Thx

Speed Pro Hellfire rings, any of the sponsors should be able to get them for you.
