Default 2000 camaro wont start - anti-theft problem?

Hey guys, my sister's 2000 camaro(v6) wont start.. its not the starter, battery, alternator, or ignition and starter relays(we jumped them to see, and engine turns over fine, just wont stay running).. We actually got the engine to run for about 3 seconds then it dies. So it seems that it will start fine, but something is telling it to turn off.

What is causing this guys?

They are about to call a tow truck and have the stealership fix it.. I dont want to see my dad paying hundreds of dollars to fix something I can do for cheap.

LMK guys! I really appreciate it!

hey dont know if im too late or not....but on some gm cars, you need to reset the security system evey once in a while. Just turn the key to on...not starting or cranking, and leave it there for 10-15 minutes, then it should be fine.
