Default Cat warranty?

both of my cats are throwing codes, and have been for awhile...
and i recently read somewhere that these are covered by warranty for up to something like 120k.

is this true? would i be able to get new ones?

if not i guess i'm just gonna have to buy a new set?
ses light has got to go since im sellin her

Yes, cat warranty was extended on the 00-02 cars to 10 yrs/120K. Rarely will both go bad at the same time - depending on the code(s) you're throwing might be something else.

I'd verify what the codes are first, unless you want to pay the dealership's diagnostic fee. Places like auto zone/advance will read them free.

Don't run dead cats for too long, they'll damage your motor. Get those headers on!!
