Default Valvecover breather: Thunder Racing, Speed Inc., Summit, etc., what's the difference?

I found a Metco breather on Thunder Racing's website, one on Speed Inc.'s site that they have made for them, and TONS of them on Summit's site. What's the difference between them all? On Summit's site, I found them all the way from $10 to $80.

Get one that is made to screw into the oil fill hole in the valve cover. I believe they are all machined by Metco with a S&B filter.

The ones from Thunder Racing and Speed Inc. are $45, but I found screw-in types on Summit for like $10. I wonder if they'll work.

just go to autozone and get the one they have the the chrome/ dress up section. then take ur stock oil cap and drill a 1" hole in the middle of the top of it and the autozone one will pop right in. just put a little jb weld on the base of it to secure it to the cap. and its $15 not $45 and does the exact same thing and looks just as good.

would it be a bad idea to drill a 1" hold on the other valve cover and do the same?
