Question HELP! Lock nuts!

When I bought my 94 Z, the guy who owned the car before had put lock nuts on the wheels and I don't have the key. I don't want to pay $40 to have them broken off for me. I bought some new tires and want to paint the calipers. Does anyone know how to break lock nuts off???

Drive a socket onto it and remove it. You may ruin 3-4 sockets tho. Go craftsman so you can keep returning them lol.

I like the above theory, but its seems like a PITA to have to keep returning things.

Sockets are the way to go. I had to do it a few months ago. You will need to drive the sockets on with a hammer to get them to bite.

Good Luck
