4.10s or 4.56s

4.10s or 4.56s
I like to hear from guys who had tried 4.56s on an M6. I have a 99 TA with 11.9:1 compression, ported heads, and a Comp Cams 224/221 grind cam. Rev limiter is set at 6600 rpm. The car is strongest between 3500-6500 RPM.
The car was tuned, but even so it does not like to run below 1800 rpm. 6th gear is currently useless unless I am going 80+ MPH.
I no longer race this car and always run street tires. After 58000 miles and a major pinion seal leak, I will be rebuilding the rear end.
I know almost everyone goes wih 4:10s, which are perfect for the track, but would 4.56s make it even faster 0-60mph (assuming traction does not become an issue)? I ran the numbers and it looks like 4.10s would give me 2100 rpm at 80 and 4.56s would be 2400 rpm.
Inquiry minds want to know.
