Default My Gf is going to buy me a Ram Air hood for my bday help her find a good deal!

Like i said my Gf is buying me a ram air hood for my 01 TA. Ive looked for a while and since there is hundereds of places to buy one from its hard to find the best price. So far the WS6 store has been the cheapest @ 535 + shipping. Anyone else know of any other good deals? primered or painted doesnt matter. Id perfer the cheapest unless the painted is an awsome deal.
Thanks!

VFN has a lift one for 400 and a bolt on one for 495 with 25 dollar shipping. And since its VFN it will most likely fit better than OEM

I found the bolt on...but i could find the lift. They are identical to the factory hoods right?

They are about 98% close.

You will get a 10% discount for being an ls1tech member also.

The notches around the nostrils are not as deep as the OEM hood, but a good body shop can make them deeper. I'm pretty sure VFN is the only company that includes the notches.

Check out my signature for pictures.

I'm using a regular bolt on ws6.

I can't vouch for the other hood, but I can tell you that I searched for a long time to find the perfect hood that would match as close to OEM as possible. I did not want to deal with a hood that would not line up like OEM and I did not want one of the hoods that had retarded looking nostrils. I chose the VFN hood because of it's reproduction accuracy and history of quality fitment, production, and customer service.
