Default Need to make a heat shield

I need some input on making a extreme duty heat shield. I need something to put between my radiator and turbo. Anyone ever made one?

I made something from .060 aluminum to go between my starter and headers.

Easy to work with, holds its shape, good at holding off the heat.

something that doesnt transfer heat I would suggest. Which would likely mean a non-metallic type material...

Make a shield out of AL and put heat barrier material on one side.

They make some tye of kevlar material that withstands extreme heat. You can buy it in 4'x4' sheets. Hell, I just checked on ebay. You can actually buy some of those Kevlar tiles that go on the front of the shuttle.
You get an added bonus. Not only does it disipate heat, but it also blocks radioactive rays as well..LOL
