Default Icky decal glue....Any suggestions?

I just got a 02 B4C camaro last saturday. It still has the awesome glue that held the trooper decals on. I have discovered why it is still on there.

That crap is absolutely some of the toughest stuff I have seen.

Scrubbing......................not a dent
Goo Gone......................not a dent
Picking with finger nail.....bloody nail
Bug and tar....................nada
Hot water......................Nada

I haven't tried water soo hot I can't take it nor a hair dryer or heat gun....

Any other suggestions for removal before I go insane??

If its on the windshield, put gasoline on an old rag and it'll work. If its on paint, try rubbing alcohol.
