Default Well, I'm here now

Last time I was at the track was 2 years ago when it was stock and the best I could do was 13.4@107

Went back to the track tonight to see what it would do with my mods.
LT's
Duals (dumped)
Lid, cold air w/ K&N filter
Ported TB
Street tune
Street tires
Stock rear with stock 3.42's

First run was horrid, forgot to turn TC off and missed 4th (Never done that before) and ran 13.2 @ 107

Second run was better but the 60' sucked 13.1 @ 111

Third and final run (I figured out what I was doing wrong but still had tire spin)
The slip reads
60'... 2.187
330...5.607
1/8...8.418@88.06
1000...10.813
1/4...12.834@111.77

I know I can drop these times if I got more runs and practiced launching but I was pleased with the results for not racing in 2 years. Powershifting probably would have helped too.

Good thinking Joe, I'll just skip the 11's all together.
Give me some of your parts!

Nice times! trap speed shows that theres some still in it-Your car is beautiful, I have the same wheels on my black '98-very sinister looking. Has yours been dyno'd? Im not a big believer in dyno #'s myself, the track is the place to assess performance, but mine made 345 at the wheels, and judging by Your trap speed, Yours is even stronger-nice car!

Nice work! It will take a lot of practice on street tires, but if you can get that 60' down a bit, you're looking at mid 12s all day. Get some sticky tires and low 12s are very possible. Great trap speed for a partial-bolt-on car.
