alright guys before when i only had bolt ons through an auto i didnt have any tractions with the camaro and i was running low thirteens.. now i have alot more horse and a M6 and all i do is spin.. even if i let off it and just feather it.. i get back on it and it spins

my question to you guys is should i go with suspension parts (since i dont have any at all) or just get some slicks.. im sure the route will be slicks..

it depends on if you want the traction just at the track or on the street. if its just for the track i would go with a nice size mickey tompson and just do some rear suspension over the winter.

You need tires and suspension. Try some M/T ET Street radials and see how much that helps. I'd say you will still need to get lower control arms then a toque arm. LCA's are relatively cheap and help quite a lot. I don't agree with sub frame connectors, they are not that special.

I daily drive on 315 555r's, if I'm on street tires I spin from 2nd gear rolls. 1st gear is still useless on the street with the nitto's unless I heat them up. So the 1st and cheapest mod should be tires. Also there is a drag racing tech section on this website where you will get better answers...

UMI lower control arms. They eliminate wheel hop, meaning no peeling out off the line.

yes im just looking for traction at the track.. i would have thought all of you would have said the biggest factor would have been tires first.. i dont have the money right now for tires AND suspension.. i think im going start a new thread and ask people what size/brand rim and tire i should get

another thing id like to know is how much can the 10 bolt really handle.. if i throw some slicks on there and get traction.. lol so many questions sorry guys

i do have t tops but i thought the sfcs are for cars that have a tun of torque and have body twisting.. i mean i do plan to have full suspension once my pockets get bigger but right now i just want to hook at the track

sfc's are for any uni-bodi car trying to hook up. With out them your car is goin to start leakin water around the t-tops guranteed! Plus with the body flexing like that you are unloading the torque that you are trying to put to the ground.
