Honestly, I dont think it would be worth the effort. That cam isnt much bigger than your stock cam.
For all the work thats involved, I would just wait until you can afford one that will really help.

you wont gain a damn thing from it. i know they are bigger but only by a few degrees. if you want to upgrade your cam, try a tr224 or something, dont waste your time on something like that.

465 to 498 thats a big difference ill argue it to anyone.....as easy as a cam swap is i would do it it will be like puttin on 1.8 rockers....if the cam is free......you may not feel alot of power difference but ill bet you will e/t better at the track.....id say its worth 10rwhp......hell the ls6 is like a 20 gain over the 98-00 cammed cars.......id do it if its free the swap aint that bad at all.......you will also gain a couple degrees of duration.....
