TKO 600 & L92. What bell housing & hyd clutch
In the middle of collecting parts for my 66 chevelle & looking for feed back on bell housings & hydrallic clutch set ups. I need a bell housing & have been looking at after market, But wounding about factory oem parts & what years to use or if the tko will even bolt up. Thinking it is the same as T56mounting.

The TKO and the T56 are totally different animals . If you want to use a hydraulic clutch system on the TKO , its going to have to be modified and you will have to use a system similiar to what they use in the NasCAR setups .

What's discussed in the thread linked below will apply to the TKO* transmissions. The GM spec'd TKO uses the traditional T10/Muncie/Saginaw 4-speed type mounting.

This is what you will need along with cutting the sleeve off the front of the bearing retainer on your Tremec .

Thanks for pionting me in the right direction with the TKO. It sounds like most guys like the T56, But isn't 6th alitte much of OD ratio? I also thought the torque rating of the TKO is the best bang for the buck.
Thanks again
