Default How to get rid of smell?

Well long story short I had to use a fire extinguisher to put out a oil/header fire and ever since it smells a tad like the powder you spray out of the extinguisher whenever i run my a/c or vent.. do I have to use that ODOR killing stuff or is there some way I can blow all that **** out into the cabin or other way around..

was thinking close all the vents and blow into one of them with compressed air with the blend doors open but i dont know

I too have been curious about this....my daily had an engine fire about two months ago, I am about to have it running again but I know it is gonna smell like *** with the AC running due to the smoke. Do you spray that smoke elimator stuff in the cowl where it sucks the fresh air, or in the car and put the vents on re-circulate or what? Thanks for any advice.--Tony

That **** takes a long time to get rid of, and god does it make a mess. Try the compressed air into the intake for the AC/HEAT

I've got a strange odor that comes through only when I've got the defroster on. I got a can of BG Frigi-Fresh from work, and plan on using it tomorrow, but where does it "suck in the air"? I'll post back results in a couple days after I've done it, but as it stands now, I don't know where to spray the stuff. Thanks.
