Default Billet Specialities Street Lite wheels

Hey guys, because nobody visits every forum on LS1TECH, there's a pretty long thread about these new wheels. It's pretty interesting stuff but the bottom line is Billet Specialities new Street Lite wheels in 15 X 10 inch with 7.5 backspace fits out LT F-Body cars with no caliper grinding. Light at 16 pounds and they look great. Check them out!

(no, I'm not any kind of a sponsor. I'm just so happy with these wheels I wanted to share the info with all us LT guys.)

They do fit LT cars without grinding. They go right on my '94 as seen in the pictures.

In due time, I'll hook up with an LS guy and try them on his car. Waiting on a reply back from the Long Island F-Body club.

Yea man very interested in the rims. I am looking for a drag rim as we speak and these would be great. Do the tuck in from the quarter panel? What about the front rim is that fit great to?

I didn't bolt them up yet, I don't even have the tires mounted yet. Can't tell ya about the tuck. My 11 inch wide ZR1 wheels fit with the quarter lips rolled.

I only have the rear wheels. I don't think they have these wheels in a front skinny size that'll clear my front brakes. It'd be nice, tho...

I look forward to seeing what they'll look like mounted on the car with tires. What size tires do you plan on running?

Will they fit the front though? That is where I think most people have their biggest fitment issues seeing as the front brakes are bigger than the rears.

Here's the full thread about these wheels:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-tires/773330-billet-specialties-street-lites-hmmm.html

While I didn't pay much attention to disscusions regarding anything other than the 15 X 10 wheels, there was some chatter about the narrower front wheels. Some did fit.

Warning, it's currently at 195 posts and there was some stupidity by one "know-it-all" kind of guy. I nicely put him in his place because I'm a "I-got-the-real-facts" kind of guy.

After a bit more research(read:other ppl being the guinea pigs), I might ****** a staggard 15x10 and 15x8 set to DD assuming they fit with little to no modifications. Rumor has it us '93 Z's have smaller front brakes...and I do not mind running a spacer or grinding the calipers down a bit if I need to.

I's still like to see pics on a typical street strip car setup. I'm basically gonna have that but my new 12 bolt will be narrowed a couple of inches on each side.
