Default read me: ORY question

there is a bolt and nut that join a clamp that clamps the stock y-pipe and straight pipe back to the muffler etc...once i broke that nut free i assumed the bolt would kick out with a little force and i'd be rollin...but this did not happen, and the head of this "bolt" is actually flat, and an oval....so i could not wratchet it out...has this happened before?

thanks for the help

The y-pipe issue won't be a problem because you are planning on not having cats (ORY), which is what the rear o2's are for. The rear o2's go in after the cats. Use your o2 extensions for the front o2's that are in the header collectors, and then tuck up the rear o2 harnesses somewhere under your car. I used zip ties.

im a little confused... youre trying to pull the clamp off the pipe? i just yanked on the clamp with a vice grips till the clamp slipped free on the other end (the nut end) and bent it off the pipe.

buy a 2 bolt style band clamp and put your catback back together with that.
