what was to be done to get an LS1 K&N on my car

im looking to get an ls1 k&n f-i-p-k on my 94z? i wanna keep the stock hood, but what exactly has to be done?

haha get it and start cutting...let us kno how that goes...

id suggest getting something similar in size and trying how it shuts under the hood...thats a tight spot for sure....
