It's DOHS unless in wartime conditions...then it is DON. At least that is what I remember it as being last time I looked into it.

The Marine Corps wouldn't let me pick my job, they chose what was best for the Corps, the Air Force and Navy didn't have recruiting stations in my home town so I joined the Army. 21 years ago, I retire next March but my last work day is November 30th.

why did yall guys choose the branch that yall did? i gave every branch BUT the AF consideration back in 1991 (why, who knows). My dad was a Marine and that's all i ever heard was Marine this, Marine that! got really sick of it, so i joined the Army and have done things that he never did back in the late 60's. Don't regret a thing i've done so far in the Army, eventhough i've been in and out of active service since 1995 but since 2004 i've stuck with my guns and will retire here in 6 years!:chug:
