Default anybody got something bad to say about those valve covers?

i realy like them look of them and i am ordering them from ls1speed,

anybody know something i would like to know?

also where is best to locate the coil packs,

just get FRC's, they look cooler and you dont see anything

I like the tig welded ones. The look like they add horsepower just because that is what you see on the top fuel cars.

i was thinking about eather those are the carbon fibers ones, mostly i like gettin the coil packs away from there to get more clean look

Why would you purchase very nice high polished valve covers and hide them behind some plastic fuel rail covers .. ... that does not compute .. If I had some great looking valve covers like those I sure would not cover them or hang coil pacs on them .. you can mount the coil pacs up under the cowl and use a LT1 spark plug wires set and cut them to the correct length ... it would be a much cleaner instillation and show off the valve corvers..to me the LS series engine once you clean it up looks a million times better than those plastic fuel rail covers..

think they meant, INSTEAD of buying the valve covers,,,use the FRC's.

FRC are kinda ghey ... to me they are dead weight plus I like the look of a engine ... instead of plastic .. once you relocate the coil pacs and clean up the top of the engine the ol LS motor looks just as good if not better than the ol SBC..
