Default Problem with AFR 210 Head HELP

I cant get my head stud to fit in one of the holes on both heads has anyone else had this problem I am using ARP 234-4301 head stud which is what afr says i need to use. It looks like there is some metal piece in the hole keeping it from going through any suggestions or ideas

Could it be a spring shim that is slightly oversize? Are you running large solid roller springs/shims?

I think you mean the center hole in the heads. We always have to grind the washers then move the springs with a pry bar or screw driver to get the bolts in
