Stock shortblock - 0, T76GTS - 1
First of all, I'd like to say that I was not expecting numbers this good...
First pull - 484/461 @ 4psi, let off at 5200rpm
2nd pull - 596/560 @ 7.8psi, run through 5800. At this point, it blew the hose off the throttle body...so we double clamped it.
3rd pull, Jeremy's pulling timing and keeping the tune solid: 605/577 @ 8.1psi, at 5800 again.
4th pull, I'm on the phone, and I hear the pressure side hose blow off again. Here's where we were at this point. Car was pulling like a Patriot missle. Jeremy was in complete disbelief.
...or what happened after. BIG puff of smoke, and instantaneous knocking.
BAD NEWS.
Someone on here has the video...shows the whole gnarly scene. For a while I was the happiest stock shortblock turbo owner around.
LESSON LEARNED: USE T-BOLT CLAMPS ON PRESSURE SIDE PIPING.

Outstanding numbers, but the spool looks super slow, like a centrifugal supercharger. Have you wrapped the exhaust yet? If not you should definately do that before tuning it again. Don't forget to double and tripple check for boost and exhaust leaks as well. It should be coming on much faster than that. If that dynojet doesn't have a load cell i'd suggest finding a dyno that will let you load the car for tuning purposes. Without the load the tune is going to be way off on the street.
If it makes you feel any better my car decided to start billowing tons of oil smoke tonight. I'll hopefully be able to diagnose my issue tomorro. I'm crossing my figers and hoping or a scavange pump failure... those are cheap. If not that then just a blown turbo seal, those aren't too bad $$ either.
Good luck with the rebuild.

Thanks all for the well wishes...
A couple answers: Boost was a little closer to 9psi on the last run. Jeremy has the data log, so I'll know next time I speak with him.
The exhaust wrap is starting to come off, and is only post-y-pipe. I will wrap it from the midpipes back this time, and have the system checked for leaks. I will also be using better clamps as described.
Still waiting for the video from whoever has it.
Stay tuned!

UPDATE:
Well, Tom pulled the heads off today, and bad news all around.
1) Significant amount of metal unaccounted for...turbo's coming off.
2) blown head gasket(s) led to motor failure...probably went on third pass and killed itself on the 4th.
3) Multiple bearing failures likely.
4) It's going to hurt the wallet.
More to come...

sorry dude that really sucks, my initial plan was to put either a STS or P1 kit on my stock LS1 but decided might as well get a built engine......why blow up a perfectly good working engine. I now ended up with a single front mount turbo system and forged 408 going into another car. Its never ending, welcome to FI I guess. Not a better hobby out there though, time to build a mean engine now, good luck
