EGR Block off plate question

EGR Block off plate question So I just got done with my header install, except for putting on the EGR plates on the back of the motor. My question is, if I run the car a little without the plates on the back, am I going to lose a LOT of power, or any power? The tube that goes from the stock manifold to the back of the block is plugged up (crimped shut and a little RTV on it to get me to the muffler shop), so IDK if its letting any air in that would cause anything.
