But right now i have a CRAP load of trans fluid leaking from the bell housing area... fkin th-400

It was leaking next to the top left bolt on those 2 pictures

It appears to be coming from INSIDE that cover, it was POURING out of the seems. Any ideas?

Um, take off the inspection cover and look at it?

Your front pump seal is probably bad.

that would be the front pump seal probably, i prefer going to TRS transmission on southwest highway in orland park, if you need a trans shop.

Hard to tell from your picture but I would agree to get the inspection cover off. The oil almost looks like it could be motor oil but it's hard for me to tell like I said. If it is in fact it is trans oil how old it the converter? I have seen new converters have a pin hole in them and leak pretty bad. Front seal is what most guy's look at but it's not always the culprit. If you need anything let me know. Vince

I was gonna say, either its motor oil or very dirty tranny fluid.

well the picture makes it look dirty, the oil was mixing up with some dirt/road grime. I'm sure its trans fluid. i'll take the cover off tomarrow, i'm just fkin tired tonight. I'm unsure of the converters age, i've been wanting to get a 3800 stall on it though.
