The pcv valve is controlled by vacuum, not electricity.....not sure why there'd be any wiring there.:confused:

I have wondered this also cause it attaches to the passanger side water cross over tube on a stock application. Or the block off plug on a LS6 coolant conversion.

I assumed it was just a mounting strap for the pcv valve.

I believe the strap has nothing to do with electricity, but more to do with keeping the valve from freezing open or closed in colder conditions.

Heat transfer helps warm it?
Took me a second to figure that out.
Have you ever seen one frozen due to cold weather?

Ok, why do you need a heat sink on it?
Only thing I can guess is so it heats the pcv valve. I remember pulling the pcv valve out of several healthy gen 1's to find milky condensation on it.
Is this the idea? Heats it up to evaporate the moisture?
