You need to remove the steering shaft and the piece right above the oil filter and they should go right in from the bottom.

If not, you might try removing the engine mount bolts and jacking up the engine. I had to do that when installing my Kooks.

My exhaust guy claims to have done it without removing the steering shaft. I wasn't there to see him do it, but I see no reason for him to lie to me. He said it was a pain, but he kept wiggling and he eventually found the right angle and got them to slip in. The only thing was that he had to get the header at almost a 90 degree angle to the ground, which means a lot of ground clearance, which wasn't a problem for him since it was on a lift.

On my slp's which are a bitch to install I took off the tranny brace/mount and held the tranny up with a hydraulic jack, I then used a 2x4 to pry the tranny over which game me extra room to slide the header in, I also had to remove the steering knuckle.

I installed my jet hots from the bottom without removing the steering shaft. Just remove the heat shields from both sides... The passenger side went right in and on the drivers side we had to pry on the motor just a little bit to get them to go... I was surprised how easy it was.
