Pro 5.0 ? I just got it is there any special way to install or is it just strictly unbolt and then bolt on. It says something about spray 4 layers on to it then trim the boot, is all the necessary and if it is any one have pics? It does really explain how to trim the boot just says to do it.

The boot is what gives our shifters that rubbery feel. When I originally installed my 5.0 I cut the boot, but I believe I cut it incorrectly and there was just too much road nose coming thru. I replaced the boot and left it as is, no cutting.
