Default iat -map timing adjustment

On edit there is that iat-map timing adjustment on there it shows how much timing it will take out if it doe's any should i just make all the cells zero and you have spark retard limit should i do the same there also.thanks

I just 0'rd out the cells to 125 degress F that way in the staging lanes I will not lose timing due to IAT temps.

You can do that to ensure you do not pull out timing at higher temps - but then the question is, are you sure you don't need to pull out timing at higher temps? If you have your car tuned for max timing at normal temps, once it gets hotter you will almost certainly need to retard -- so you will end up having to tune your overall timing to a lower value, or suffer through knock / knock-retard.

You need to experiment with your car to see what it likes/needs, and pay attention to your IAT's - if you never see the higher IAT's then you might leave the retard in there as a safety measure.

what happens if the IAT is unplugged, what does that do?
