IMO if you had a decently free flowing catback and good Y pipe, it wont change much in terms of ET or MPH.

I went from a qtp gutted Y and a LM to a set of turndowns off the collerctors and it didn't make any real difference power wise or tune wise, unless your exhaust was a logjam, it should be fine, as long as you aren't trying to add or remove any o2 sensors that may or may not have been turned off.

You shouldn't have to change the tune much, if at all, but I do think you will see some gain.

Just make sure the 02's have atleast 18" of leak free pipe after them.If fresh air hit's the 02's it will screw the tune up.
I'm also thinking on your setup that that exhaust will probly hurt power more than help.

I don't know his setup, so I can't comment on if it will hurt or not, but i've been running bullets with turndowns straight off the collector since I was a cam only car, and at that point, with just a little 228 cam I picked up like 2 mph goin from an ory with a cutout to the bullets with turndowns off the collector.

The weight reduction alone will make it a worth while swap.

I'd leave that setup on the car, the car it came off ran damn good with a 346 with that exhaust on it.
