bad exhaust vibration

bad exhaust vibration
just installed pacesetter headers on my 2000 ta and now i have a really bad vibration around 1500 rpm. what would cause this, and what would solve this problem.

Yeah check out the pipe and see if its hitting anywhere. Also, the little brace thing that runs under the y pipe was causing alot of noise on mine so I just took it off. You might want to check that out.

the only time the y pipe bangs the floorboard is under hard acceleration. and for the tunnel brace yea i didnt even put that back on after installing the headers because the beace wouldnt even come close to bolting back up because the y pipe hung to low.

I am looking for the same problem on my 2002 Z28. Mine shutters on take off. I can feel the vibrations in the floor boards. I just put in Hookers with y-pipe. I think it might be the connections vibrating. I am going to take mine the the muffler shop this weekend and get flanges welded to the pipe!! Hopefully this takes care of that.
