yes, it is 13/16x16 thread.
the o-ring diameter on the filter is 2 5/8 inches.
this thread is pretty standard among all domestic vehicles up till around 2005 or so.
I thought I remember hearing that the standard thread changed to metric,
but at least for the LS1 it is 13/16-16.
