Question Anyone have a Moser Drain Plug Leak?

I am going to be assembling my Moser 9" soon and I ordered the drain plug option.

How well does it seal up? There isn't any type of gasket.

Has anyone ever had theirs leak/seep some? Any suggestions since my housing is still dry?

Mine leaked around the weld. Make sure it doesnt leak around the weld before you put it in, that was a major pain in the *** I would have rather not dealt with. I had the plug rewelded and put some teflon tape on the plug itself and it doesnt leak anymore. Since your housing is still dry, I would wipe some JB weld around both sides of the weld, inside and outside the housing, just to make 100% sure that the weld doesnt leak.
