McLeod bell-housing/allignment pin?
I was looking at my stock housing the other day measuring out the shims I will need for the McLeod. I noticed the McLeod doesn't have the allignment pins and assuming I have to remove the one from the stock housing?
Did you guys remove them and reuse for correct allignment to the block? I'm assuming so and might sound like a dumb question, but it never hurts to ask. From what everyone is saying you have to modify these housings a bunch for them to fit.
Just an FYI...if you go to buy shims, it's cheaper to have a machine shop make them. The difference between the McLeod with the motor place to the stock is a little under a 1/4 inch. I was figuring 7/32.
