Arrow PSI for tubes compaired to no tubes?

ok, i run no tubes in my tires, 28 MT ET drags.
i have had 4 sets of tires this season do to damn holes!!! 2 screws in 2 sets, and a side wall cut from somthing (not sure what)
so im $1,600 into tires and a damn screw starts to leek, i cant stop it just cant fix it, i try beed lock, swapping rims ect ect, just wont stop. not my tires have 4 pass's on them so no way 1600 in tires and 4 passes on a new set im throwing them out so i got tubes.
i usually run 12-13 psi depending on trac conditions and size shot, but what should i do with tubes? leave it the same? will it hit the tire the same?
any info would be great, im hoping to race sunday

Tubes make the tire stiffer and I actually know some people that gained et by running tubes, it is also a little more stable on the top end.

With or without tubes you'll have to play with the psi to get it right, no guessing there.

stop driving the damn things around on the street, probably stop the screws and ****..... unless there's someone that thinks they're funny at ned and likes to litter the pits with tire hazards.

I've never heard of anyone having the problems you have with this Brad to be honest, but if you are going to run tubes you are going to find the tires don't work the same, I talked to Bruce abotu this before I went to them, and the tires definately work differently with the tubes in them, generally worse by his experience.

Start at the same air pressure, but don't be surprised if you have to go lower to get it to hook off the line the same.

I ran into te same problem with screws in the tire. I installed my tubes and bought it to the track last night. I noticed that the car reacts alot quicker off the line and definatley feels more stable on the top end. I put in 11psi cold and it seemed to hook pretty good, only 1.55 but thats due to my rear suspension not being setup correctly.

well, i ran the psi a 1/2 psi higher. thinking that if i set tire befor at 12.5 once the burn out is done its atleast a 1/2 psi higher, so i did that, and between the tubes and a few suspention ajustments the car went a 1.27 60 foot!
happy with that, but the car was swaying on the big end, but it may have been cool weather with a 20 mph cross wind

If you race a lot ET drags and no tubes is a PITA, I can never figure out why people dont want to use them.

I run 13-15psi cold in mine, I checked them when I rolled the car out of the trailer this morning and they were 14.5psi. i have no sway issues at all really unless its windy but thats not the tires fault.
