i just ended up putting a set of 5.3 heads and a 224 cam in my 2000 Z. i had it tuned and now the downshifts are a little firm. you can really feel it downshifting from 3rd to 2nd and 2nd to 1st when pulling up to a stop sign for example. i think the tuner played with the convertor lockup and i know the torque managment was changed. by the way, the stock stall is in the car still. any suggestions?

He likley increased the line presure, Anythin that affects the upshift firmless though to a lesser degree will affect the down shift too.
