sorry for hijacking, but would also like to know how thick r the sleeves? is there anybody pushing to 1000+rwhp? how do u compare L92 block strength to the LS2s.
I should had started my own thread, but it would be heplfull to gather all this info together.

I've read stock LS1 blocks will lose ring seal with big power turbo/supercharger motors that have lots of street miles put on them. The solution for many was the LS2 block.
There are a number of turbo LS2 buildups running stock LS1 cranks, forged rods/pistons (364ci), AFR 225's and LS6 intakes with ported TB's making 1000rwhp+. After a few hundred passes the cylinder liners will crack at the top of the bore. Remedy- simply buy another sub $1000 block and go back at it. For a production aluminum block the LS2 is hard to beat for strength.

i had a ls2 that i sold last spring with a procharger and my machshop guy told me a 1000HP was the limit and that was the cranks(STOCK)limit and i was only building for 650 700 hp so thats why i went with the LS2 block and crank for that build, and dont get me wrong, that was ARP studs and bolts everywhere ,forged pistons, rods
