Im bringing the car to colelge with me and i may have it tinted here. Whats the legal limit on window tinting here? A friend told me that there isnt one.

35% For the Front two doors and 20% Back doors and Hatch. Where I'm from they aren't too strict on this so I have 20% all around.

5% all the way around. I had 5% on a truck for 3 years never got pulled over and asked about it.

It's 15% on the back and 25% on the fronts...I"ve had 5% all the way around on my camaro for 6 years with no problems until 4 weeks ago...Got pulled over in Little Rock for the tint being to dark....He didn't make me pull it off, but I went to Shanes shop and we did it anyway...

I'm not from Arkansas, but I just bought my camaro from Magnolia, AR. And the day after I get back home in LA. I got a ticket for the tint being too dark {12%}. Also, I got a ticket for no inspection sticker. When I went to get my car inspected, I told him bout' the situation n he told me, yeah, they don't have to have an inspection sticker n they can have their tint as dark as they want in AR. He said there real leniant. I believe him too, cause when I was up there, I saw a dude on his motorcycle riding a wheelie all the way down the the main highway. Plus, when I asked the guy I was buying the camaro from, do I need to put my seatbelt on, he told me no. So, yeah, I would think they're pretty leniant.

The click it or ticket law in every instance I have ever been in went something like this:


PO: Good afternoon sir, I clocked you doing 70 in a 60. Did you have your seatbelt on?
ME: Yea I did have my cruise set a little high I apologize about that. Yes sir I did have my seatbelt on.
PO: Yea, I am sure you did. Here is your ticket for speeding, and you have a nice day sir.

cop told me the same thing. my truck had 2% all the way around and 5% on the windshield and i never got **** for it in little rock, but my trans am has 5% all the way around and i got a ticket the second day at college in fayetteville. the cops suck up here in nw arkansas. and hell no i did not take it off

I have had 5% on my truck for the last 8 years here in AR. On my T/A, I have 5% on the back and 35% on the sides. I have never had a single problem with cops with either vehicle.
