Default clutch decision

What clutch should I go with? My car is stock besides exhaust & lid but I am already ordering parts. I have ordered lt's. My goal is at least 425-450hp max. So I want a strong clutch now & break in while I am modding it now. Any suggestions???

thanks

LS7 hands down.

It will feel like stock and handle the power you are looking to achieve.

Will it be a direct fit or any modifications I have to work with?? I never bought from ebay, so what best place can I get the best deal? I'll start looking myself.

seems like the spec 3 or ls7 clutch might be the one. Is this a good price I'm looking at for one

the ls7 clutch is heavy and im pretty sure there is anouther part u need to buy with it. i have the zoom full kevlar clutch cant get the bitch to slip as soon as i put it in the car we put about 150 miles on it and took it to the strip worked great ever since.

centerforce came out with an all aluminum peice that rocks ***. flywheel and pp both alum. shaves like 23 pounds off the weight and its less than $700, this will be the next kit i buy.

The LS7 clutch kit from SDPC come with the disc, pressure plate, and flywheel, which is all you "need". It would be a good idea to put a new slave in while your down there. With the slave it should be around $550.
