Default Tranny problems, revs in gear but rev. works

I was driving, and it was running fine. I stopped at an intersection and when i went to take off something goes clunk and it wouldnt move. It revs in all forward gears, but rev works fine. Any ideas? Its the A4 BTW.

I had a guy just the other day call about some parts that had a broken output shaft that did the same thing as what the OP has stated in this thread. It broke just below the splines for the front planet and still had reverse. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or just need some advise. Vince
