I'm right over from you in Sheridan, but I'm not sure what time we'll get headed out. Not sure which truck I'll be towing with either (either a white Silverado or an older black 1-ton), but my car is a maroon Z with pro-stars and a cowl hood. I'll probly be followed by a GMC towing a teal green s-10 with a cowl hood on radials.

actually ALL of my RACECARS have been chevy !!! And I'm a chevy guy...for real..I just happen to have owned several mustangs.. I'd love to build Foxbody with a LQ9 carbed and turboed .But all my funds are going into my buisness (DYNO & Performance)...and now we are trying to buy a bigger house.Someday I'll be "bacK in the game"....But it'll be something FAST...not these EFI cars,for the same money I could build another rail dragster and be the fastest **** @the track...not just the the fastest ___ _ _ _ _(fill in the blank)..After running 6.60 1000' these 8.XX or 7.XX just dont do it for me...Yes its cool having a fast DAILY BEATER,but I'm not ready to throw a bunch of money at it when the same money would build a faster car(just not EFI)....

as for the FORD VS FORD final.......thats just reality!!!! Jamin/Dewey/Frank/grumpyJames are .3-.5 of a second ahead of the "local c-ville" LS-1 crowd.....Hell frank's doing it in a TRUCK,and Jamin AND frank are using the smallest engines in the class,Deweys on a small 150 shot!!! James won the last one on DR's...Never count Greg out he's in the hunt as well..
The LS-1 guys just aren't "gett'n -R-done"....lord knows its not a money thing....I built my whole car for what the longblocks cost in some of those rides....

I knew it u are a CHEVY man at heart I dont blame ya on the going fast deal it takes to much money to compete in this EFI class, im just going to use this car i bought for a DD, then build a badass race car! Hell i hope on the LSX guys pull some surprises and can get in the finals
