Roll Bar Padding and tire pressure
I am installing a 6pt roll bar as we speak and I was wondering if I needed roll bar padding to be NHRA legal and if not do you guys recommend it. Also what tire pressure should I start out with. I have 26 X 10/15 M/T ET Drags and 430RWHP. Thanks Jessie

You should have padding on the door bar and any place your head could hit. Start at 18 psi and work your way down a psi or 2 till you get your best 60 ft and the car still feels stable on the top end.

On mine I ran one along the door bar and from where the door bar welds to the main hoop, from there over my head. I ran the one sided "U" shaped stuff that was like 3/4" thick I think.
