Most of you saw me running around with a Canon SLR permanently attached to my hands, here is the event as seen from my own eyes. Enjoy!

Forgive my ignorance, but who is the older fellow in the GMPP shirt? I noticed him with Lou from MuscleCar and also signing a GTO hood.

Awesome pictures! Seems like there were a couple of us with our DSLR's stuck to us, lol. I think I saw more of the event through the lense than anything.

Nice to meet you btw Tony, I was the younger guy taking pictures down at the starting line Saturday. It's always fun to put faces to names at the events.

Mike Alsop, and yes his daughter is the one with the bullrun car. Both raced index, both entered the car show on Sunday and I believe both did the True Street deal as well. Very nice people, should see the bomber car at SEMA I believe....

Sorry...what is a bull run car?

Bullrun was a show on Spike TV they did recently (similar to the old cannonball run) where teams drove from place to place, then had stunts as well. The team with the slowest time went home each week until they determined a winner. Morgan and her dad Mike were the winning team in a red Trans Am, and that car was in attendance at Memphis.

Nice car Mike, I saw it it in Memphis and also at SEMA, I was wondering who built it.

malsop
11-10-2007, 02:18 PM
We built it in the shop. Dustin Wheelock-Bobby Vandergraph and Cabe Sipes just to name a few. Our shop is (Mike Rasior's) "Premier Autosports" Located here in Lafayette Indiana. Is that your Camaro? If it is It was tight we watched you all come in on the trailer. The (new)4400 converter lost a ton of clutch material that plugged the valve body on the trans at the shootout (we were dissapointed) so finishing the car and taking it to the track to test it. We are looking for high 9's.

Yeah the sticker'd up LS1Tech Camaro is mine, went 11.38 na over the summer with the nitrous converter but luckily dropped down to 11.02 with some better air and more seat time. Going to swap in a stronger motor converter over the winter and would like to get the car to run around 10.5 NA and whatever it will do on a 150 shot.
