I own a 01 camaro z28 . The only thingsi have done to it is an air induction kit, flowmasters exauhst , and a hypertech chip with thermostat. I want to spend around 1500 to 2k for some more performance parts. Where will i get the most bang for my buck

You didnt specify so I am assuming you have a catback?
Go;
Headers/Duals
Headers/ORY
^ I think the duals sound awesome but im rockin Borla atm.
A4 or M6?
Either way gears wake things up a bit.
3:73's seem to be popular..
It depends on how far you are wanting to go as well..
You could do an intake/cam as well.

Definetly get a 3600 stall converter, then 3.73 gears as long as you don't drive highway too much. That alone will make a world of difference.

LTs or a TC with tires and gears. depends what youre looking for. TC with tires and gears will help your 1/4 considerably but LTs with a tune will improve your power and sound.

I say 3600 stall, custom cam, long tubes, true duals, tune and a little hit from the bottle for those supercharged and turbo beast out there! and leave the 3.23 gears alone they will be great left alone!:chug:

Pacesetter LT's & TSP 3" Y-Pipe or Stainless Steel LT's & ORY (don't remember the sponsor's name but check the GP/sponsor sales section)
Custom Cam
n2o (you can find a used kit with just about everything you'll need for fairly cheap)
Racetronix Fuel System and proper sized injectors for how ever big shot of n2o you'd plan on running...

I say that performance is not just 1320 feet. You say you drive this thing on the highway a significant amount. I would suggest Hotckis springs. They lower the car only about 1 inch but that is an important inch. The stock decarbs shocks are junk. If you have the money use Koni adjustables or to save some cash use the bilsteins. Call Sam Stranos and order his hollow sway bars 35 front 22 rear and the heim joint pan hard bar. Then get a good set of used 17 inch rims and but some 275x40x17's on them. This will make the car very fun to drive. Every corner you feel like having a bit of fun in just requires you to push a bit on the gas and roll through it. When I bought my camaro the suspension was stock. The car felt sloppy. These upgrade make it very stable and you can feel confident about pushing it. I know that I am by far the minority here and most people think camaro/ firebird cars are for 1/4 mile. Well maybe I am getting abit old but I like my fun to last more than 12 seconds. And that is my $.02 worth. Good luck which every way you decide to go.

Pacesetters, TSP Y of your choice, plugs, plug wires, lid/filter, stall and tune.....that should blow your 2G's! Just remember whatever you do, include the stall in your A4.

get a stall, longtubes, and a tune, and if you can afford it, new shocks, and a tune up. make sure to keep all of your fluids fresh, i killed bearings in my rear end that could have been avoided had i changed the oil.
btw, your gears are fine. i changed mine from 2.73's to 3.42's and the power is nice but my gas mileage went from about 25-26 hwy down to 22-23. low 3.xx's in these cars are as low as i'd go for a DD auto car. more can be gained with a converter than with gears.

Get rid of the flowmasters and get a good cat-back or duals, some headers, cam, stall

Give the money to those in dire need... like me.. lol!
ok well seriously it depends on what you want to do with the car.. corner carving or straight line.. straight line goal I'd start out with a stall and sticky rear tires. there is no other mod that gains more than a stall per dollar other than spraying the car. If its corner carving I'd shoot Sam Strano a PM with what you are looking to do and go form there.

Very wise but, when he said "should I get some nos",I think that means he is probably looking for straight line perf.
I do agree with you though...there is more to performance than just a straight line!

put it towards something that will make you money. CD's or the Bank. haha. once you get started it will never stop. 2000 is just the tip of the iceberg. once you spend that you will want more and more and more and it never ends.
