Car wont go into 2nd gear Hey guys,
Well its been like this since i've had it (bought the car as a project and have barely driven it). The only issue i'm aware of transmission wise is that it wont go into 2nd gear without grinding unless you do it slow and you hold it in when letting the clutch out.
Does this sound like a bent fork or a synchro issue? I'm clueless when it comes to transmissions. Is there anything else that would cause this? I know the car has barely moved in more than a year (probably two) besides being started up every once in a while and moved back and forth.
If i definitely need a rebuild i'll go for it but i'd like to avoid one if possible.
