LS1 into 94 rs camaro 5spd!!!Anyone know how?
Yeah well story goes my bro has this 94 rs camaro he has a buddy who sold him a wrecked 99 6spd vette.So since I convinced him to switch from imports to domestics he always turns to me for help.The question is what is needed for him to make the swap in his car?You guys think he can keep the t-5 tranny or I dont know if he is going to put the vettes tranny but I told him that he will need the bell housing if he wishes to do this because vettes have torque tubes so its a lil different but the trannies are the same right?What else do you think he will need to do the swap?thanks for looking?

He mights be able to use the 5 speed but might need a different bellhousing

Camaro/TA Oil pan and engine mounts, and acessory brackets and radiator hoses stock manifolds these are all parts that you can find pretty easy on this forum let me know Thanks

Ditch the T-5 especially behind a LS1. If I am not mistaking that is the same T-5 that GM wouldn't put behind the 350 TPI in the third gens because they can't handle the torque. LS1=torque monster even stock.
